With Options Come Opportunities
Successful fishing depends on the fisher’s ability to match the feed and to attract attention. Feed can be anywhere in the water column. We work to design lures that take advantage of lighting at any depth. Fish deep, everything is black, but in between, you have options. And options mean opportunities and opportunities mean fish!
Oh man. Look at that shimmering blue! Our first design, the original “Helldiver,” has hex and hammered textures that grab light and simulate the scales of a darting candlefish or herring. We’ve caught a lot of fish with this!
Designed for fishing at deeper depths (50 feet and below), these painted spoons with a dash of glitter show a stark contrast between the glowing white and the dark black. Your traditional “cop car” with the advantage of glowing paint.
Just obnoxious, but the bright and glowing paint on this spoon have pulled a lot of salmon for us. We have had equal success shallow and deep with it, and we’ve caught kings and silvers in Seward, Kodiak, and Homer. This design is a very versatile spoon and fan favorite.
New for 2022, this red and white painted spoon offers a splash of color when trolling in shallow (red holds up from about 20-30 feet) water. The red darkens to black at deeper depths (hey, we don’t make the rules, that’s just physics). But the white will glow deeper.
Green with hammered and hex patterns, this spoon has been popular especially in Kodiak. Everyone knows silvers love to attack green. Green holds its color in the water down to about 80 feet so this is an interesting options for the mid-range fisher.
Also new in 2022, a black and purple design using the hammered and hex patterns to catch the eye of any salmon nearby. These guys fish well mid to deep because of their contrast, and they offer a lot of ‘bling’ near the surface on a sunny day.
Fishing is about options. These hammered and hexed gold spoons catch the sunlight and toss a different vibe from silver spoons underwater. We have hooked up on these guys when the salmon just aren’t feeling silver based spoons.
